Future city

This project was submitted as an international competition, and the first coveted award went to our Office (initially second award-first award wascanceled). The great challenge in this project lay in setting up the planning program, then manifesting it as a master plan. Being the greatest real estate investment project in the Middle East, the huge area (11 000 acres) has implications in searching for the planning program that provides maximum revenues for the Developer.

Therefore, our concept was how to figure out the optimal planning approach that aims at realizing the best investment.

Traditional planning approach changed to a developed vision based on the concept of investment as a major motive, hence the planning units changed to investment units i.e. theme parks, thematic districts.
