Alexandria Opera House – Renovating Sayed Darwish theater

This building represented one of the greatest challenges faced by our Office throughout premises, considerations, and constraints were various and effective- an ancient building existing since 1921 that was required to be developed and renovated to become Alexandria Opera. Representing all specialties, a work team was formed; it included the most efficient specialists in acoustics, theatre mechanism, and light, besides the structural consulting team that had a great role in studying the structural system that responded to introducing developed technology befitting an opera.
