Egyptian-Chinese University

Major design tasks concentrated on figuring out the design program that absorbs the Owner’s requirements together with the special conditions of the administrative authorities i.e. Ministry of Higher Education. Within the same context, we tackled with great awareness the design inputs: location and site. Then comes the method of creating the architectural character that reflects the concept of the project (The Egyptian-Chinese University); this undoubtedly requires casting the spirit that appreciates and reflects the Egyptian reality with symbolic glimpse of the Far East civilization. Hence, the project came to carry all these dimensions as a form or an image, besides the optimal exploitation of the site, concentrating on the functional and structural considerations with their economic implications.
